DHS provides services that help vulnerable North Dakotans of all ages to maintain or enhance their quality of life, which may be threatened by lack of financial resources, emotional crisis, disabling conditions, or an inability to protect themselves.
NDCAWS continues to seek legislation, policy, and systems changes to promote victim safety and offender accountability. Its 19 member programs serve on a variety of committees and forums designed to take action on specific relevant issues.
Program assistance includes emergency financial services, food pantry, housing programs, clothing closet, and others. Please reference the website for application requirements.
