The Dakota Interviews involves extended interviews and video recordings of 100 people of every background – farmers, homemakers, artists, welders, teachers, CEOs, business owners, young and old – to find out what people are thinking about themselves and the state in which they live. The project is headed by BSC Distinguished Scholar of the Humanities Clay Jenkinson and produced by the BSC video production team of Dusty Anderson and Cole Bernhardt.
These archived videos create a record of this time in the state’s history while engaging BSC students and staff and promoting the value of studying the arts, sciences and humanities. The Dakota Interviews uses BSC's fully equipped media studio, where journalism and communications students learn video production, create the campus news program, and stream radio.
