Paying for college courses while still in high school is a smart investment in your future—and 黑料网 offers multiple ways to make that investment affordable. Here’s how you can pay for your Dual Credit or Early Entry courses and take advantage of available support.
Tuition & Fees
Students taking dual credit or early entry courses receive a significantly reduced tuition rate compared to standard college classes. BSC offers different tuition categories based on who is instructing the course and how it's funded. Below is a breakdown of estimated tuition and fees for the 2024–2025 academic year:
Subsidized Tuition
Qualified high school instructor is paid in full by school district
- 1 Credit: $83.89 tuition + $5.50 Connect ND fee + $0.04 NDSA fee = $89.43
- 2 Credits: $167.78 tuition + $11.00 Connect ND fee + $0.08 NDSA fee = $178.86
- 3 Credits: $251.67 tuition + $16.50 Connect ND fee + $0.12 NDSA fee = $268.29
- 4 Credits: $335.56 tuition + $22.00 Connect ND fee + $0.16 NDSA fee = $357.72
- 5 Credits: $419.45 tuition + $27.50 Connect ND fee + $0.20 NDSA fee = $447.15
Unsubsidized Tuition
Qualified college instructor is paid in full by BSC
- 1 Credit: $148.42 tuition + $5.50 Connect ND fee + $0.04 NDSA fee = $153.96
- 2 Credits: $296.84 tuition + $11.00 Connect ND fee + $0.08 NDSA fee = $307.92
- 3 Credits: $445.26 tuition + $16.50 Connect ND fee + $0.12 NDSA fee = $461.88
- 4 Credits: $593.68 tuition + $22.00 Connect ND fee + $0.16 NDSA fee = $615.84
- 5 Credits: $742.10 tuition + $27.50 Connect ND fee + $0.20 NDSA fee = $769.80
In-State Resident Tuition for Courses that are Early Entry classes
- 1 Credit: $173.63 tuition + $45.01 mandatory fees = $218.64
- 2 Credits: $347.26 tuition + $90.02 mandatory fees = $437.28
- 3 Credits: $520.89 tuition + $135.03 mandatory fees = $655.92
- 4 Credits: $694.52 tuition + $180.04 mandatory fees = $874.56
- 5 Credits: $868.15 tuition + $225.05 mandatory fees = $1,093.20
This is an estimate only. Rates are subject to change each academic year. Subsidized and unsubsidized dual credit tuition rates are only assessed to approved high school classes. For all other courses, standard in-state resident tuition rates may apply.
Ways to Pay
Tuition is due on the first day of classes unless you’re enrolled in a payment plan. We do offer a 30 day grace period to complete payment. Be sure to monitor your Campus Connection account for payment deadlines. Unpaid balances may result in late fees or registration holds.

Financial Assistance Options
There are financial assistance opportunities available to help reduce the cost of Dual Credit courses. Some options are for high school students, while others are available after high school graduation.
- : Students who qualify for free or reduced-price lunch can take up to two Dual Credit courses per school year at no cost, thanks to funding from the Bank of North Dakota. You can complete a dual credit assistance application on PowerSchool under the ND Education Portal beginning July 1, 2025. Paper/PDF copies will no longer be accepted.
- Dual Credit Tuition Waivers: After high school, students who have previously enrolled in Dual Credit courses at BSC and are accepted as new, degree-seeking students for the Fall semester may receive up to a $550 tuition reduction. - NDUS Dual-Credit Scholarship: This scholarship provides up to $750 for students who completed Dual Credit courses in high school.
1098-T Tax Form
If you pay tuition for Dual Credit or Early Entry courses, BSC may issue a 1098-T tax form. This form is used to report tuition expenses to the IRS and may help your family qualify for education-related tax credits (such as the American Opportunity or Lifetime Learning Credit).
- Forms are issued in January each year and are available via Campus Connection.
- Keep this form for your records and consult a tax advisor for how it may impact your taxes.

Dropping Classes & Refunds
If you drop a class after the refund deadline, you will not receive a tuition refund, and the course will appear as a "W" (Withdraw) on your transcript. Refunds are only available before the refund deadline or if withdrawing from all courses. Be sure to check the refund policy for details and consult with BSC’s Academic Records or Student Finance offices for assistance.

Tuition and fees on the student account are due by the first day of class. All other charges such as late fees, fines, etc. are due the date incurred.
