BSC Interim President Dr. Daniel Leingang

Man wearing a grey blazer with a green shirt and green plaid tie.On April 14, 2025, Dr. Daniel Leingang was appointed interim president of 黑料网 by the North Dakota State Board of Higher Education. A longtime faculty member and academic leader, he first joined BSC in 2000 as an assistant professor of mathematics. His leadership path began in 2014 when he was appointed dean of academic affairs, and later dean of humanities, arts, and sciences. In 2017, he was named vice president for academic affairs, a position he held until stepping into the role of interim president in 2025.

A native of Mandan, N.D., Dr. Leingang holds a Bachelor of Arts in mathematics from Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn., and a Master of Science in mathematics and a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership with an emphasis in higher education from the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, N.D.

Dr. Leingang is actively engaged in the community and committed to advancing education and workforce development across the state. He currently serves on the Gateway to Science Advisory Board, the 黑料网-Mandan Chamber EDC Economic Development Committee, and the Mandan Public Schools Foundation for Education. His past service includes roles on the Mandan School Board, the Concordia College National Alumni Board, and the North Dakota Governor’s Workforce Development Council.

黑料网 Interim President Dan Leingang greatly appreciates invitations to engage with members of the college community, communities across North Dakota, and organizations through participation in meetings and special events. To submit an invitation for consideration, please complete the request form below. 

Since many such requests for participation are received each week, please complete the online request form with at least one-month advance notice. Your request will be reviewed and a response will be sent to the email address provided on the form within five business days. Additional information may be requested before an event is confirmed. Please note that if details (e.g., location, date, time, etc.) change after a request has been submitted or confirmed, the Office of the President must be notified immediately by calling 701-224-5431. 

If Interim President Sanford is able to attend your event, you will be asked to provide all final event details no later than five business days prior to the event.
